Stretching along the west side of the Medicine Bow Mountains into the north end of the Never Summer Range, this park is the ultimate in rugged Colorado. Visitors can enjoy 71,000 acres of forest, jagged peaks, alpine lakes, wildlife and miles of trails. North Park is considered the moose viewing capital of Colorado, with over 600 moose to be observed year-round. Lodging is available in cabins that overlook the North Michigan Reservoir and Yurts and Huts in beautiful locations throughout the park.
